 After choosing our song from the R&B genre called If I Ever Fall In Love, we started by thinking of a unique and creative brand idea. Knowing it would be easy to create a brand based on an artist's features, we thought about how Sia used a wig to cover her identity and this brought a lot of attention to her as fans were constantly trying to find out who she really is behind the wig. This brought up the idea that instead of a wig we could use a mask to cover our artist's identity. There is discussion as to whether the mask should cover the full-face or just the eyes. The full face mask would be good to hide the identity better, but the eye mask would allow for emotion to be shown better throughout the music video. At this point we are also currently still thinking about our artist's name, but we are highly considering the name The Unknown because it blends with the concept of keeping the main idea of our artist as unidentified.

There are a few challenges that we are facing when thinking about marketing our artist. The main one is how we are going to exactly create the brand and popularity. We were given the idea of having both the female and male gender be a part of our marketing. For example, in our music video both a male and female will wear the exact same outfit and mask to not reveal even the gender of our artist, which will give us leeway on advertising them on a platform like Instagram and Snapchat. One of the benefits of Snapchat is we are able to create our own filter and it can be a very good way to market our artist by putting the mask on the other users while having the song play in the background. This however is going to be complicated to create, but we are determined to try and do our best to make this idea come to life because of how important it will be for our advertisement and brand.

When thinking about the next steps we really want to focus on planning out the music video and also creating various accounts on platforms such as Instagram and potentially making a website to sell clothing and albums. One thing we want to include in our music video is clues that the audience can then use to try and figure out our artist's identity. We need to plan the music video very specifically to make sure we can achieve our visions while not giving out too much information. The clues will consist of different symbols based on where our artist lives, for example, for Florida we would include some palm trees and buildings to represent Miami.
